Washington’s beef industry has come together to help feed the more than 40,000 people in the Inland Northwest who go hungry each week.   Beef Counts is a program designed to provide a consistent supply of high-quality beef protein throughout the year to Second Harvest Inland Northwest.   Local beef farmers and ranchers are accomplishing this through cash and animal contributions. Thanks to Agri Beef Co.’s 50 percent matching contribution, each individual rancher’s donation goes even farther.   Each animal or the cash equivalent provides 1,600 servings of high-quality, nutrient-rich beef protein.
